Raub & Bentong

This weekend is the 5th week after my grandpa pass away...
and since I am having my semester break now, I am free to follow my parents back to hometown and pray for my grandpa.
There were only two of my uncles, my grandma, my aunty and my family went back.
We went back on Saturday afternoon and it was a rainy day. Kinda jam in Cheras and we took about 2 hours to reach Bentong .... Grrr... tired tired....
We went to Bentong, bought some snacks for our tea time and went to Restaurant Bentong for our dinner. Awhh ~ what a coincident that we met 1 of my cousin and aunty at the restaurant because they were there to celebrate his grandma's birthday. Haha!

I ate quite a lot and i feel really full! ... Slept quite early that night... cause I need to wake up at 7 for CHURCH... Unfortunately... the neighbour who stay opposite my grandma's house is really crazy... they set a special tone for their Proton Saga. So whenever the car reverse, it will be some special tone and is really really loud... they love to reverse their car... around 7 or 8 times a day? especially midnight....
That night they reverse their car go in to their house car park again... and the tone woke my family included my uncles, aunties, cousins ... EVERYONE! pissed man...

Morning I fetch my mom, aunty, and my grandma to Bentong church... We seldom visit that church, we only visit it when we go back to hometown. When we reach there, we saw the priest which he is about to leave in his car and there weren't any people in the church and the door was locked. We asked the priest only know today Bentong church no mass, and the priest is going to Raub church for mass and ask us if want to follow him to Raub church.
We discussed for a while.... and we were interested to tag along... So we decided to follow the priest's car to Raub.

On the way to Raub the road is really... narrow and the priest drives kinda fast like he don't know we are following him. There are so many big big truck and lorry on the road and only one lane available... its kinda hard to cut cars ... the priest keep cutting around and we were like ... @.@

OK... in the end I couldn't follow his car because my mom and aunty ask me not to follow, they say we can go there and find the church by ourselves ~.~
YES this is the first time I drive to Raub....
We spent around 15 minutes to find the small small small road to the catholic church which is located up the hills there.

There was a small road sign which is kinda old and the colour is kinda dull which is hard for us to notice it and the small road are like those motor road in KL ...which is really narrow and curvy... SCARY!!! After we drove up to catholic church, the people there ask us to drive down because the parking lot is so limited and its full. We were... =.="!!! and we need to pass by the scary road again.... kinda worry if there are cars coming up what should we do huh? the road is only able to fit 1 car man! lucky this never happen to us, we get to drive down smoothly and park some where beside the road...then walk up from the staircase ~

First time visitting Raub church .... still not so bad. The air is fresh because of the location and it is really different with those church that are located in the city.
Then, after mass...before going back to Bentong we had some foods there which is specially prepared for all the church members ... The foods are kinda nice ~

Overall ~ kinda enjoy my weekend but its really tiring!!!! When we are on the way back to KL, its raining and jam again...goshhh! Off to bed now ~ Ciao :-)
